I am an enthusiastic Personal Trainer who has been working in the fitness industry for almost 18 months now after I finished my qualification down in London. As well as one to one work I am also working with the Lincolnshire County Cricket age groups and the 1st team over the winter getting them conditioned for next summer. What i enjoy about this job is working with a variety of people who have different personalities and are working towards different goals. I aim to eventually work for a professional sports team as a strength and conditioning coach.

As a forty two/nearly forty three year old, office based, over weight, cigar smoking, male who occasionally/regularly participated in a “few beers” after work decided that “the Lincoln 10K” would be a piece of cake; after a “few more beers” I stated “with a bit of training I could even win the thing”. Having being reminded the next day by an ex friend of my boasts we decided that I would run the 10K for a very worthy local charity. I went for my first run some six weeks ago and very quickly realized that I might need some help. This is where Paul came in, thankfully, having been recommended by a friend. I explained my “goal” to Paul & gave him a brief outline of my “relaxed life style” & listened intently to what he had to say. After five weeks of, no alcohol or cigars, programmed exercising of 5 to 6 times a week and losing 16 pounds, which is predominantly down to Paul’s expertise and support I run the 10K on Sunday, although I would not advise backing me at the bookies I am looking forward to a “decent” time and a celebratory & hard earned beer with Paul, after all we deserve it.
